HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Ignoring the bootloader, this is what annoys me. When I upgrade, I want top of the line everything, and I'd pay for it. My only real complaint with the Bionic is 512 ram. You take the DX and you get 1gig ram, but not LTE and no frontfacing camera (which I don't much care about). You get FM radio, which I don't think the Bionic has, but I don't care about that much but would be nice to have.

Then if you want a physical keyboard, you're really at the mercy of the OEM's telling you what you need.

And I'll bet money the specs on the rumored Moto Google phone will disappoint. Totally a sellers' market, everything is geared to you wanting or having to upgrade in 12 months.

Just called the Wichita BB's and they're still reporting tomorrow... but it was pretty obvious they don't think it will happen. I don't understand why all BB's don't have the same information, especially when some are still reporting availability for tomorrow. Is it really that hard for Verizon to get that info out to the stores? I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow, but deep down I know I'll be waiting until the 24th (it sure as heck better not be later than that).

I think only certain areas will have them tomorrow, cause I have heard from some people in my area of Ohio that there bb also will have them tomorrow. So whether it's because of a bunch of people preordered and they just wanted to see how many people or what.

For those on the edge about getting the Thunderbolt due to supposedly poor graphics benchmarks: the Sony Xperia Play, which is an upcoming android smartphone made specifically for gaming (with slide out psp-like control buttons), will be using the Adreno 205 graphics chipset, the same one found in the Thunderbolt. dancedroid dancedroid dancedroid

I called my local best buy and the guy told me that it will be between the 14th and 24th.. He was thinking the 17th but either way its between those two dates, which we already knew.. If some stores get the TB tomorrow I sure hope mine is one of them, but if I have to wait till the 17th Ill be fine with that as well..

I was told I'd get a call today, but that doesn't make any sense because I don't think BB gets delivery service on Sunday. Maybe someone else knows if they do?

I think I read way earlier in the thread that some BBs already had the phones, so they were just waiting for the release date, whatever that may be.
