HTC Thunderbolt `All Messages`

I have looked all over and can not seem to find an answer, hopefully I am in the right place - I have an HTC Thunderbolt, under the messages app, there is the SMS/MMS & then All Messages - now I was thinking in the All Messages section I would be able to see my email, and any other messages that come in that are sync'd with the phone...is this not an option? If so how do I get it to show up? The same messages show up in the SMS/MMS as the All Messages area.
