HTC Sync and Verizon web site ?

Hi all,
I am a newbie and just installed the HTC Sync on my computer to be used with my Incredible. Any time I plug the DINC in the computer, Verizon hacks the currently shown web page on the monitor. :icon_evil:
What is the problem and how to fix that ?
I am uninstalling the Sync because even already plugged the DINC, the Sync still says there is NO phone connected.

Hit Call
Type Password 000000 (that's 6 zeros)
Hit Feature Settings
Choose CD ROM
Click Disable
Hit menu, commit modifications (it will say no item changed)

Wish I could remember who gave this to me but I can't so thanks anyway

Thanks, but it doesn't work. It forceclosed right after dialing.
Verizon wireless is currently doing more and more stupid tactics just to stay afloat....i.e the newest Samsung stuck with Bing and Verizon's useless apps.....

thats very odd. i Will do some more digging and see if I made a mistake. I am sure this will solve your issue maybe there was a typo in the access for the programming

OK I cut and paste this from the original thread. the fix is from knightdavid on incredibleforums and it is the fix that I used and I know it worked for me and others. If it still does not work, copy this thread take it to VZW and ask them why your phone is retarded
