Our third HTC story for this morning is a bit of good news for the manufacturer, and our follow-up fourth story is even better. It turns out that HTC may be on the road to recovery now. They have had an amazing success with the HTC Butterfly (aka the Droid DNA) in Japan and Taiwan. Because of this they have already announced a successor to the device will be coming. The new successor will also be marketed under the Butterfly name. There is some speculation that this new phone will come to the US carrier Verizon later on this year as the HTC DLXPLUS. There's no way to confirm this yet, but it seems plausible.

The only confusing thing about this is that it means HTC will have two different flagship devices available globally at the same time. This doesn't seem like a new marketing strategy for the company. It seems more like they are still using ideas from their old playbook. We will just have to wait and see what happens for now. At least the company is starting to see a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
