HTC Rezound Sign-Up Page - Plus Unboxing Video from Lucky Customer

The HTC Rezound sign-up page is over at Verizon now if you want to get updates on the device. Also, we found this video on YouTube that should be shared. Apparently, this lucky customer somehow got shipped his pre-ordered HTC Rezound way too early. We are lucky enough that he decided to share an unboxing video with us, so we can drool along with him! Apparently, this particular customer that pre-ordered isn't the only one who might get the phone early, as several posts in the youtube channel suggest that others may be getting the phone early too. *Please be aware that this video has a bit of PG-13 language.*

They sound kinda hood and at the end they say "You gotta have connections." Connections...? I'm wondering if they didn't get it early when it...fell off the back of a Verizon delivery truck?

He also said it will be in stores on 11/11, however the launch date is 11/14

I just called verizon and tried to pre order one, he tried it to do it like three ways. The end result was, not available for pre-order at all!!! I asked to talk to his boss to see if he can over ride it, AND NO GO!!!! Was told he can add it to my order, but it won't accept any payment options. I called my buddy at the local verizon store and they got they're stock units along with his employee unit in yesterday. If any of you are able to order one today, please let me know how you did it!!!!

I've tried 3 different people and no-go. I think it was a temporary glitch when they 1st entered it into the system that allowed a few to squeak through. Feels more like 4 weeks instead of 4 days.

Well I just called again and got the same result. She did say she took a call earlyer today where a guy was asking if the htc rezound he ordered was shipped yet because he heard people were getting them in early. She said she couldn't pull up any info on his order. I asked her to ask her superviser how that guy was able to order one already, she asked then came back on the line and said he has no clue, maybe online? I then told her the phone isn't online yet. She said maybe they are ordering from other verizon retailers. Well I've checked every online retailer with no luck. All the guy in the video said was that they will be in stores by the 11th, he never said they would be for sale on the 11th. I sell cars, so I pick up on stuff like that!! The verizon store in my area already has they're stock units and the two employee's that wanted the rezound have them already, and i was told as far as he knows they can't sale them till the 14th, but will let me know if he can sale me one earlyer. If you read the comments on the youtube page the guy that posted the video says he has family that works for verizon, so maybe he's playing with dads phone.

They just think they are cool. Just some 13 year olds. We have them in stock since yesterday morning we just cant sell them till release date. All i can say is WOW this is suchhh a smoooooth phone. I love it. I wanted the razr but when i played with this the razr stand no chance. Its very fast and smooth no lag beautiful transition. Im surpirsed they arnt making such a big deal for this compared to the razr. This is much more of a better phone id expect to see more advertising for this...

It's not part of the official "Droid" lineup, so, who knows... maybe it can't dismantle a robot or slice through a lamppost, and therefore doesn't deserve a marketing campaign. :biggrin:

I was in a Best Buy mobile store yesterday and they would have sold me the HTC right then, but waiting to see the N first.
