Verizon just officially announced that the HTC Rezound is receiving the Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update. Sure enough, Rezound devices around the U.S. are starting to get the OTA download. This brings the phone to Android 4.0.3, and includes Sense 3.6. The software version is 3.14.605.12. Sound off if you are one of the lucky folk who have received your update already.

What is in 4.0.4 that we are missing? Not being sarcastic, just curious.

I am keeping my leak until it is confirmed that Verizon has not messed with ICS's ability to disable bloat.

Where do I get the leak? I am tried of waiting. I've looked around for it, not thoroughly enough though.

I'm not 100% sure what is different between 4.0.3 and 4.0.4, I was just surprised that they were not releasing the latest version of ICS for the Rezound as the Bionic leaks are all based on 4.0.4

For the Bionic? Just search for 6.7.232 - I don't recommend .235 because you will not be able to revert to Gingerbread if you happen to dislike ICS.

Before I start complaining about not having 4.0.4 I want to know what I am missing. If it is something like the font being different in the settings screen, I could really care less.

Brutally slow on 3g, I'm now in an area where I should be getting 4g and it's not switching over.

Maybe with large important updates it won't switch over.

I am updating now. It makes you download a 7.1 mb update first, stating "This it prepare your phone for the ICS update". After it installs that update and the phone reboots and loads up, it will prompt to download the ICS update.

:) I am a happy person today.

Extremely irritating... The hand off from 3g to 4g stops my download completely.

Have to restart it after being at 87 %.
