I really like handscent, but when I tried going w/out HTC Messages, I realized I'd lose my VVM which of course I PAY for. So I tried downloading Verizon's VVM, and it wouldn't install!!! —because it said the HTC Messaging app was superior (or something... soooo not kidding)!

I like handscent enough that I'm just dealing with double notifications, and I have to admit I like HTC Messages Voice Mail, as well. (It's neat to have all your messages right there).

But this is ridick. I text a fairly good amount, so the double notifies are silly.

I'm open to ideas. (I wasn't a big fan of YouMail, btw, but it was better than regular voice mail. I LOVE VVM!)

Instead of Visual Voice Mail, try Google Voice. It interprets VM, prints it on screen, and allows you to access VM visually from your PC.

Plus it's free. Why pay for VZ Navigator when you have Google Maps + Nav?
