htc incredible 2 problems

i have the htc incredible 2. the guy said it was new never use but i have a idea it isnt. it looked new in low light but got it home and there is paint missing on the bottom. i go to use it and i activate it then tryied to type. when i go to press the period button it never works. it types the letter above it or the button below. i then went to calibrate it and there is a sentence you have to type i can just get the first word typed then went to space and the space button wont work. it freezes also. is it issues they have had with these phones or is this one just bad? thanks

I had the dinc2 for almost 2 years and never had those problems... you could try an FDR, that should help a lot....
