Cannot text....is anyone else having this problem?

So I just tried sending a text on my X2 but something strange is now happening with my phone. Whenever I try to type this phone lags an incredible amount and half the time I can't see what I'm even typing. The letters don't show up or if they do show up only part of them show up, like only the top half of the letters. Then whenever I try to type a space the keyboard closes. I thought it was a GO SMS problem at first so I uninstalled it but the problem still persisted. I cleared all my past messages and rebooted the phone but the problem is still there. Anyone have this problem before?
