A few weeks ago I cracked my screen. It was just 3 hairline cracks that you didnt notice when the screen was on. Then about 2 weeks later I pulled in out of my pocket and part of the screen was black. Theres a strip of black going down the left side of the phone that is about half an inch wide and the bottom third of the screen (basically where the keyboard is) is also black. There are also very thin colored vertical stripes going down the phone. The touch part of the touchscreen works just fine. Should I just cut my losses and buy a new phone or could I fix it myself?

Thanks

The DNA is going for about $200 currently. The replacement LCD is about $70. Personally, I would replace the screen, but I'm an electronics repair junkie.

Do you think the replacement LCD would work? Would it be hard to replace?
