Now that we know the official name of the next version of Android you are probably wondering whether or not your device will ever receive the update. Those of us who own Nexus phones don't really have to wonder. For the most part if you have a Nexus phone that is 2 years old or newer you will be receiving the latest and greatest version of Android. The rest of us who have an Android phone other than Nexus have to wait on pins and needles for the OEMs to tell us whether or not we can expect the goods!
HTC wants their customers to be at ease. They are ahead of the game in announcing which devices they plan to bring Nougat to. As soon as Google announced the official name "Nougat" HTC took to twitter to let us know that they will be bringing the update to the HTC 10, One M9 and One A9. For now there is no ETA.
