Although recently HTC confirmed during their financial results call that it will launch two new smartphones in November, they were tight-lipped about which ones. However, industry insiders are speculating with good reason that one of them will be the Rezound, designed to compete with the new Motorola Droid RAZR and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The other is likely to be the Radar 4G.
The press event is scheduled for November 3 in New York and is covered with Beats by Dre branding. This is obviously more evidence that they will announce the Rezound at this event. The HTC Radar 4G is scheduled to go on sale on T-Mobile USA on November 2, so it is possibly the other phone announced.
On a side-note, HTC also commented that the Sensation didn't sell as well as they expected it to, and that they do not intend to release phones in the $100 or below segment in the future.
