Howdy, All, what's with code 31?

Ourgangmn here, (my wife and I have four daughters and we live in MN) trying to get my first SPRecovery backup to work. Nandroid keeps exiting with a code 31 when I tell it to perform backup. I entered 'sync' as su in Terminal Emulator, which did nothing. Then I reseated the sdcard. No success in getting past that error code. Do I just keep trying each of those solutions until one of them magically works?

theres that, as it being actually corrupt; idk. might try a different SD card.
