I had bought a droid x and thought it would be easy to synch with my Lenovo computer that utilizes 64 bit. It wasn't. However when I contacted Motorola specialists at 800 734 5870 I was able to find the solution. They were most helpful and patient with this 75 yr old neophyte!
When you open up your droid, go to the upper bar and drag it down to see what programs are available to you. You'll need to go to the one that deals with USB storage. Speak with the technican at the number I gave you and you will be led through the process. It takes about 15 minutes and the results were very satisfying. I was able to drag the videos I wanted on my droid to the droid x drive. When I tested it out, everything worked well.
