I'm very excited, I just picked up my Motorola Droid yesterday, and I have to say, I think it's the best smartphone I've ever had!!!

i would suggest you to root it! i just rooted mine yesterday and i love it even more! i did go with the BB1.0. and let me tell you that the community here has been more that helpful.

I purchased my Droid the day after Christmas and joined the forum last month. Since then, my days are spent sitting with my Droid and laptop reading this forum.

I did go to Church this morning so it must be Sunday. Just before I put on my suit jacket, my wife said "don't even think about taking that phone".

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!! I will definitely be glued to my phone and this forum in the coming months....I hope I get some work done lol! I am a big proponent of teaching myself through reading before I ask, so you may not hear from me for a bit while I catch up, but believe this, I am here ;-)

@mwhartman....I know EXACTLY what you're talking about...I was in church yesterday (we had a banquet) and today fooling around with my phone...and I'm the bass player lol!

Coming from Sprint and there crappy phones I finally made it to verizon and droid. As soon as I picked it up in my hand I knew I had a great smartphone. This phone is amazing! I had the palm pre and the samsung and they both were nowhere near the Motorola Droid."I Love My Droid
