How to turn off 4G to just 3G?

Does anyone know how to turn off the 4G to where it will only operate in 3G? There doesn't appear to be a way to do that on the phone and I cannot seem to find an app that will accomplish this. I do not wish to root right now either. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried most of those with no success. Many are just toggles to turn data off and not actually turn off only 4G.

An old app called Extended Controls that I used on my Droid Bionic had a toggle for 3G/4G. I don't know if it worked though, I never needed to use it.
