How to text multiple people at once?

Never realized it til the other day but is there a way to send a text to multiple contacts at once?

My old phone would let me open my contacts and jus check off everyone i wanted to send it to.

I ended up typin the same text message 9 times because i could not figure out how to mass text (droid came with horrible directions).

I am using a Original Motorola Droid 1 by the way.

would love to know if anyone knows something about this i dont.

Have you tried holding your finger till a copy all pop up window shows. Then open a new message, hold finger till paste pop up window shows. and paste.

You can tap in the "to field" and just keep typing in contacts after each comma. Similar to sending emails to multiple people.
