How To Sync Old Contacts

wioneo

Member
When I bought this phone, I had all of my old contacts copied over.
I have the sync contacts option checked.
If I add a contact on my phone, it appears on my Gmail account.
If I add a contact on gmail, it appears on my phone.
However, the contacts that I already had when i bought the phone(the transferred ones), do not show up in Gmail.

Is there a way to remove w/e setting seems to be blocking these older contacts from being synched?

Simply exporting all of my contacts to the card and then importing them fixed the problem. However, there are several copies which need to be deleted now...

EDIT: Conveniently, google has an option to automatically merge all duplicates, that saves a lot of time.
