How to root my Samsung Galaxy s5?

Does anyone know how I top root my Samsung galaxy s5? It is android version 5.1. I have tried both zroot and gingerbreak, both with no success. Any other root programs suggest?

it's T-mobile, I tried many root tools like iRooter, Kingo and other data, but not successed. I also tried AnyRooter to root my Android, it works fine but not free.

If you were a tech guide, then have a look at XDA forum, there are solutions out there. Or you can try some easy rooting apps, such as iRoot, KingRoot or AnyRooter, which has a clean user interface and easy to deal with.

You have to disable all AV apps before rooting any device.
Also, I don't think Towelroot was updated to work on anything past KitKat on the S5. I think Kingroot works on Lollipop, but you'd want to double check that on the XDA forum as I haven't been following it lately.

just make sure to read the instructions carefully with each root method. Last I heard you still couldn't root if your S5 is on Marshmallow, at least this is the case with the Verizon model. However, this may have changed recently, so just be aware of that.
