how to remove this app's icon white background

Hi All, anyone knows how to remove this app's icon white background, i don't want to install any launchers because my phone's RAM is only 1GB.

3rd party launcher or root your phone and update the Icons. Not many options. Why can't you use a 3rd party launcher with 1GB of RAM?

I disagree. A couple launchers I have used use less ram than the default.

+1 on Nova, I have used a couple different Launchers since 2010 on all my Android phones and Tablets, they have always been less of a memory hog than the factory, and have less bloat.
