How to remove password for security

Hi Everyone,

Previously when I locked my screen I had my phone set so I could unlock it by swiping a pattern. I set a password the other day to try that as well but find it to be a pain to type each time my screen locks. I want to remove the PW but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do so.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Joe

Hopefully, you know your password. First, go into settings, which can be found as an application or hitting the menu button while on the home screen. With the Jellybean update, go to "lock screen" and then "screen lock" confirm your password and select a new screen lock method.

Hope I helped!,
