How to mount SD Card when plugging in USB

Basically, whenever I plug my bionic into the computer via usb port, it does not give me an option to mount the sd card...
how do I "Create a folder on the mounted DROID BIONIC called Music"


i'll tap on the USB Connection in the notifications bar and the following options come up:
PC Mode, Windows Media Sync, USB Mass Storage, and Charge only

but no mounting option...

Have you tried USB mass storage?
