How to install google maps 5.0?

I really don't know how to install the map 5.0. Currently in the phone is 4.5. How to update it?

It usually updates through the market. Go to "my apps" in the market to update it.

Success

Managed to install using APK files since i cant update it in my country.
But the navigator still not functional...it's just keep tracking.

However, is it really can function offline? Seems not.

I'm having the same problem with Google Maps. It eventually (couple of minutes) starts tracking.
As a test, install Microsoft Bing, and see how quickly it starts tracking.
Another alternative is to launch the GPS Status & Toolbox app and use the Manage A-GPS State option to manually initialize/reset the GPS before launching Google Maps.

True, and I beleive the Nav feature does not work outside of North America.

Some of the apps that came with the phone never updated untill I downloaded appbrain and updated with that idk if that was just a bug but mays well try

Google navigation only works in USA, Canada, UK and few other European countries (and maybe Australia - not sure).
