Problem: I want to revert back to google maps 4.4 however the only version I have of it is from my backup on cyanogen mod 6 rc 3. How can I extract that version of google maps and install in on my current rom. Please note: I've upgraded to maps 5.0 on my current rom.
Story/details:
So I keep trying to give google a chance to fix google maps. Version 4.4 was the best because you'd click the refresh button on the app and voila it'd refresh. Ever since 4.5 the refresh button doesn't do anything! Let me give you an example currently: it currently states that a contact of mine is on a fwy and according to google maps he's been there for 12 hours. I've tried refreshing and closing and restaring the app and rebooting.
