how to go back to 2.2 from2.3

I have a friend with the incredible 2 and he was running tether now and when his phone updated to 2.3 his tether wont work, how do you sbf back to version 2.2?

There is no sbf for Incredibles. Incs use an RUU. I'm not sure if there's one out yet to go from 2.3 to 2.2 on the Inc 2 though.

There's a post over on XDA in the General DINC2 forum about this. There's a link in one thread that takes you do a listing of different ROM's. I'll see if I can find where I posted about it. DISCLAIMER: I've not tried it, don't know if it works, don't know of legitimacy of it. I downloaded it for future playing around with if I get may hands on another DINC2 like I plan.

Find a reason to return your phone and have them exchange it for new phone that is still probably loaded with 2.2
