How to get past the activations screens

How do I get past the activations screens so I can get my Droid 1 to update with the OTA updates? I removed root and took the phone back to 2.01, and I have replaced the phone with my new X. I want to sell it online, but I want to get it updated to the latest OTA before I put it up for sale.
