How to get ota gingerbread update?

If I want to get the OTA gingerbread update and im on Liberty 2.0.1 do I have to sbf or can I just restore back to my back up? And if I have to sbf can you tell me where to find a good one. I know theres no posting links but can you at least help me find one if I need one?

I'm not sure if you can just restore the backup. I would just play it safe and sbf. Just Google Droid X sbf download. It should be one of the first results.
