how to delete apps

I am new to the smartphone(G'zone commando) and not sure how to delete the apps the phone came with. what are the first things people usually do with their phones to make them run better, more effeciently. I am not a big tech guy.

Can't delete the apps it came with I believe, I think its bloatware carriers install on the phone and won't let you uninstall. I don't know anyway to speed up the g'zone, but thats because I don't have it. Hopefully someone else can help with that.
