how to check the processor speed?

Download an app called "quadrant standard" from the Play Store. Open it and select "system info". Will say either 1200 or 1000 under cpu.

Wow! I thought I'd be at 1000mhz since I was an early adaptor to the Bionic family... But I'm at 1200mhz!

Actually, I think the earlier Bionics are MORE likely to be the ones that go to 1200mhz.

Yeah, I'm thinking that too. I read in another thread motorola changed something small about the processor. I got my bionic free with a two year plan this past august, and i had 1.0ghz when i first made it to ics.

Oh cool. 2983 quadrant score stock bionic at 1.2 ghz. I was going to root just to overclock. Now i have no reason to root!

The highest quadrant score i got after ics update is 3009! The lowest i got was 2880.

I had a release day bionic but the wifi quit working and my replacement is only 1000mhz, wish I still had my first one.

release date bionic, never rooted and did the ICS OTA a few days ago. got around 2500 on the quadrant score, and 1.2 ghz
