How to change the notification bar to black?

Anyone know how to change the notification bar to black...white is so annoying....Thanks for the help!

#1 You will need to root your phone.
#2 You will need to then install a theme.

I highly recommend Droid928's Black Glass theme.

Im rooted but pretty unsure about theming...Kind of scared...I used mm to theme swype and that worked but thats about it..any suggestions?

you will need to buy bootstrap recovery off the market. $2.00 then rom manager if you search here you will find alot of tutorials on how to do this.

First you should make sure you have nand backup, and the sbf file, so if you really screw up, you can fix it. I actually like the NexTheme, but I haven't tried Black Glass yet.

Bootstrap recovery costs money? I downloaded mine from I think rootwiki for free. ROM Manager does cost money though.

check out a app called ninjamorph. you can edit the framework_res.apk on your phone. you change the color while you edit it.
