How to block a incoming text

Hey fellow Droid friends.
I haven't been been on in a while, but I have a question that needs to be answered quickly. Is there a way that I can block a incoming text and a phone call from certain individuals? Someone keeps on calling me thinking I'm someone else and they wont take me saying it's not them for an answer. Now it's getting to the point of harassment. PLEASE help me if you can, I would greatly appreciate it. And take me step by step if you would, I'm not tech savvy at all. Thank you.:hail:

I know you can block numbers on the My Verizon website, I believe that applies to texts as well. If not, there are apps in the market that let you block numbers.
