How much Blur is really on the Razr?

Could someone please tell me what changes Moto made to Gingerbread when they "Blurred" it? I know there are custom widgets that you can use if you want, but what changes were made to the overall appearance that can't be changed?

The launcher is skinned ever so slightly, with blue tick marks on the bottom showing which home screen you are on. When you switch home screens, all the icons and Widgets get a momentary shine on them which is a neat effect. The notification bar on top uses blue font color. Other than those things I don't see anything else blurrified. The blur Widgets are actually pretty cool. In my opinion, the RAZR looks like it should have been the next Nexus device instead of the Samsung GN.

Before I had the Razor I had the OG and flashed so many ROMS that I have no real clue what stock is anymore. With the Razr and its "Blur" its just another custom rom, and a pretty good one in my opinion. That's why I don't understand the hate for Blur.

I can't really tell what changes they made with Blur. If you can't tell the difference what does everyone complain about it?

Also...Blur is the closest custom UI to stock Android than all the others. I don't understand all the hate from stock Android lovers.

I think blur and social widgets are unique. But yea its hard to tell what's blur. And this version is alot better than what was on phones before the bionic. Blur got better with the GB update for the Droid X1.

It is the additional UI tweaks, Widgets, and apps that cannot be removed if undesired. Some of the Widgets are pretty neat, but I don't use them as I like to keep it simple. I don't use the apps at all, but at least they aren't constantly running in the background.

The answer is 42.
Oh, wait, you mean to tell me you need to know the question now?
Well, I can't answer that.

So basically when the Razr get ICS is will be pretty much vanilla, with only some minor, cosmetic changes? When I was checking out the Razr I was expecting something like Sense based on all of the complaints about it. Someone should change the title of this thread to Blur or Bigfoot.

Ocs on the Razr is going to be ridiculous I also think when this phone gets ics the only thing the nexus will have other than updates will be nfc.....i wouldn't be surprised if this actually rocked ics better

For me, Bluetooth 4.0 is the better option, but that's just me. Everyone has their own needs.

Take it from a guy who could not handle Moto Blur and manufacturer UI's a year ago. Moto's UI on the RAZR is stellar. Its fantastic. I feel no need to flash ROMS and themes because its so well done. Not to mention it is butter smooth. Right on par with the SGSII which says a lot.

Manufacturers UI's have surpassed vanilla Android in smoothness and looks in my honest opinion.

Never thought I'd be typing that but I'm loving what Motorola did. Blur? What Blur? :) seriously don't even notice it.

Agreed my bionic is also butter. Even snappier than my friends brand new gnex in transitions and portrait to landscape smoothness...Rzr follows suit. I think ics is going to be bad a$$ on the big two moto devices!! Blur is very well integrated indeed. Sence 3.5 is lagfest in comparison imho. Moto did well

I have a droid 2 global that had moto blur on it and moto blur slowed ty's phone down, flashed a custom rom and my droid 2 global, and in my opinion they must add alot, I am running apex now and it is pretty much vanilla and fast as hell, when the razr gets ics it will be skinned with moto blur, just like froyo and gingerbread with other Motorola phones, moto blur kills the uuser experience.
