Seems worse since I've update to 4.2.2. The guys on xda with custom roms get almost double battery autonomy.

It does seem like something is unnecessarily draining your battery... a lot of people have had google services / android system issues since 4.2+ on a few phones. Google "google services battery drain" and see if any of the suggestions help... there are a lot...

On an unrelated note, I've been to Romania before... Galati to be exact! "Small" world... I'm sure I sound like a silly American, but I just thought it was worth mentioning... don't see too many members from Romania on the forum!

2300mAh it's not small battery.

Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4

2300 is a tiny battery.

I bet, on continuous use, you can't get over 4:00hrs screen on Web time out of it.

Truth is, with the high resolution and all the features of phones today, 2300mAh is nothing. The Nokia 720 POS has 2000mAh. And that's a Nokia with basically no features and like 100ppi crappy screen. Just dumb tiles looking at you.

A phone like the HTC ONE needs 3500mAh- 4000mAh.

Problem is, phone manufacturers want to squeeze more and more and more features and more cores and more resolution but they want to keep the phones thin and keep putting the same crap batteries.

This is why forums are filled with battery life issues threads, a guy here, just look up a few posts, can't get 3 hours out of it and why do you need to turn off all the features you bought the phone for in the first place just to get through the day?

This is why I don't blame Apple for not joining the super spec race. They know the battery life would suck badly.

Motorola Maxx went the right way with low resolution and a 3500mAh battery. This is the way you can at least get though a day and go to the Maxx threads. Those guys aren't getting no 48hrs out of it.

All we can pray for is for the phones not to die in the middle of the day.

The HTC ONE really is a sort of "phone for guinea pigs". Don't be surprised if the battery life sucks ass.

These guys who post awesome battery life don't really use their phone much. As soon as you start using these phones the Internet kills the battery fast.

Battery technology should be to the point now that these phones should get no less than a 4500mAh battery or more. And keep the battery small.

We are in a time now that the features of the phone, mainly Samsung trying to kill apple by throwing the kitchen sink at the phones and then all the other manufacturers following in the footsteps, that all these features and specs are moving too fast and we aren't spending enough R&D into powering these phones properly.

Phones now are literally as powerful as any computer with Quad Core CPUs and full HD screens and still being powered by TINY 2300mAh batteries.
