how do you make the phone ring longer?

I have a phone with my own created ringtone form mp3 music file.
(I used ringdroid to make it) The problem is that when someone
calls me, it only lasts about 10seconds or little more. After that,
forwards it my voicemail. Is there a way to make my phone ring longer????
Instead of going to my voicemail, let it ring longer!!!???????

I was able to lengthen mine by calling tech services. The first person I talked to said it could not be done. The second one did it.
