The icons on the main screen? i accidentally dragged that stupid corporate icon to the main screen and there is also another copy of it in the pull up menu

Click and hold.

Drag to trash can.

touch and hold the icon (long press) until it vibrates and drag it to the bottom where the slide out thing is (which has now turned to a trash can) and drop it.
