How do I turn off display during charging?

I want my Droid to go to sleep during charging and I recall selecting something that keeps the screen on during charging, but cannot seem to find it again to turn it off.

Go to Settings > Applications > Development > Uncheck "Stay Awake"

or just turn off the screen?

I've been rooted for awhile so it's hard to remember stock settings but if all you want to do is turn the display screen off you should be able to just briefly hit (not hold it in) the power button on the top of the phone and it should go right off for you. LCH

"EDIT" What KidCuba said ^ is the settings way to do it so you don't have to turn it off each time.
