How do I save & lock text messages on verizon droid 2 motorola

I have a verizon droid 2 the motorola and I just need to know how do I save and lock in text messages.

Download and use Handcent SMS instead of the default text app. It has this funtionality built it.

There is also the app SMS backup which saves it to your gmail acct.

I'm fairly certain this cannot be done on the stock ROM. You're using liberty, and this is a feature of liberty

How do I save and store locations to my navigation system. The system automatically deletes my completed destinations after a certain amount but I want to store them for future usage

Long press on the text you want to save. A menu will come up. Choose lock. easy peasy.
