How do I save an emailed/pix messaged jpeg picture to my sd card gallery?

Long press the pic and the option to save should come up.

Hey unfortunately long press doesn't work and for some reason when I click on the picture it's like it's playing a video it has a play button to view it. That's weird because the photo is a jpeg. Why is it having me push a play button to view it?

Once you hit the play button, try hitting the menu key. Might be a save option there...

The Play button is also a sign that someone attached a slide show instead of a picture. Unfortunutaley, the "slide show" only has one picture in it...and I don't think you can save those...I just tried saving one on my Droid 1, and I had no options with either the menu or the long press.

How badly do you want/need this picture...you can send the text to your e-mail (type your e-mail in the "phone number" box), and as I recall, you can extract the pictures on your desk top, then just reattach the individual picture to antoher e-mail, and dowload it from your .gmail (or whatever other one) accout.... It's a round about process...and probably not worth it. Also, I am sure some of the other forum memebers might have a simpler way to do it.
