it does nothing to your "power", the only thing thats harming your "power" is you constantly killing tasks with a task manager. Leave it alone and your phone will run faster and smoother with longer battery life. Its preloaded with 2.2 and you cant remove it unless you root your phone.

Get rid of it, Android has it's own Task Managment System built in to the O/S and any third party app that claims to do the same just works against your system and can cause major slowdowns and battery drain

I had a task killer and I got around 12 hours of battery life (with my usage). I deleted it yesterday. Charged phone overnight and right now at 11pm I have 60% battery life. After 1 whole day of use I have 60% left. I am in awe.
