How do I get a video from Mac to Droid to work

I transferred the video over to my droid but can't get any app to recognize and play it. What format do I save it in? Where do I save the video to on the droid? Which app?

was it a .mp4 format? I know that's one of the few formats the droid supports.

You should be able to see it in your phone via phone memory or SD card if you have a file explorer app, check out astro.

Thanks dezymond. You had the right answer. I put a .mp4 version on the droid and played it with doubletwist. Worked like a charm.
