How do I find out if I have 4g coverage in my area

I am interested in getting either the HTC Thunderbolt of the Droid X2. If I don't have 4g in my area I am thinking of just getting the Droid X2.

I live about 45 mins north of NYC in Eastern CT

Go to Verizon Wireless, Coverage Locator, select 4G coverage. Type in your zip code.
