How do I delete application in the application screen?

There are some I will never use and I would rather just delet them.

you can go into settings, click on applications, then just select the app that you want to uninstall and click uninstall.

You can also access this through the market. Go into the market, click the settings button on the botton next to the home button, click on downloads. Then click on the app you wish to remove and click on the uninstall option.

Many of the applications (the ones that came pre-installed) cannot be removed unless you root your phone. Even after that, it's a bit of a chore to do.
