How do I create a folder on my sdcard in adb?

Okay, so the directory exists! It says /sdcard/nandroid "is a directory" and yet I CAN'T GET IT TO RESTORE WHEN I USE ADB PUSH!

Pulling my hair out here! Thoughts? It says 4 files pushed but then that error code 20 appears when I try to restore. What am I doing wrong???
