How can I tell if I deodexed successfully?

I downloaded Sephtin's 2.3.340 deodex zip file for the throttling hack but not sure if it installed or downloaded correctly? Is there a way of telling our not? I'm rooted and installed it with the Kouch bootstrap and it appeared to be fine but it doesn't seem like my internet is any faster when I ran the speed test against my wifes droid 2 global. Did I miss something? I am new to all this, I've only had my X for a couple of weeks so far and I did allot of research before I went down this road but I'm still a noob.

look in /system/app. if there are any .odex files, then it didnt work.
