How can I change the Droid X start up splash screen?

I was wondering how I could change the splash screen that appears when you boot up a Droid X (The droid name and the eye). Is there a way of replacing those with a custom screen? If so, how?

There are boot animation changers in market. Root is required. Look up jrummy16 and he has an app for it.

yup. changing it is quite easy. there are a lot of different apps out there. chkmate has a huge thread devoted to boot animations...or maybe that's boot logos....I think he has both.
