Hotmail outbox folder on Droid X

I have a couple messages in my hotmail outbox on my Droid x. I guess I did them when I had no service.
How do I get them sent?
The only option seems to be delete which makes no sense

Always include the email app in questions like this. Not everyone uses the same app and the app likely makes a difference.

Actually I have no idea what app runs the hotmail on my DX

Verizon set me up. Maybe that is a clue?

I get it.

Email is what is

touch Send."

So I'd open the email, highlight the message to take the focus and then hit the send button.

I go to Outbox, Try an highlight the message and nothing happens

I then hard touch it and a delete window pops up

Nowhere does a sent button show its ugly head!

Last night the Hotmail outbox emptied. It only took 48 hours, at least, for one of the emails to be sent on its way.

I actually think the outbox empties automatically and there is no way to control it other than deleting from it.

I also think the Droid is a bit uncooperative with Hotmail because they want you to use gmail!
