So i went into the local verizon store b/c my girl needed to replace her phone...obviously I went to play with the nexus as I didnt have much time. I did the speed test, 15 down 17 up. And I was looking for the signal strength in dbm but couldnt find it. What I did find was that that phone was hotter than I ever let my d1 get after maybe 5 min max of tinkering...

Is that normal?

I know they were aiming for a -90 or so dbm and it seems like the nexus is at -130? Is that the service problem?n

It gets warm, no doubt. But it's dual core and very thin. I could have my OG and GN both run at 100F and the GN feels warmer. It was concerning at first, but I'm used to it now.

A different kernel will take care of that.

I'm just saying it feels warmer than compared to the OG at the same temperature. The nexus actually runs cooler in some instances than my OG did.
