If you're new to the world of Android, you might not know Cyanogen (which I came from Windows Phone, but still knew him). Well regardless if you know him, just keep this in mind, he is the biggest and greatest hacker we have seen in the Android world. He managed to do what might have seemed to be the impossible, and hacked his T-mobile G2 to run his CM6. He did this with a new method that seems extremely complicated to explain, so I will just let you read it yourself:
This means that future HTC devices that will come to Verizon might be saved by Cyanogen, and we will not have to be stuck in the world of stock ROMs like we were in iPhone universe.
Does this give you a little relief knowning that your next device will not have too much of a problem (hopefully).
