Dan Morrill of Google Confirms in a Tweet that there is no minimum spec for a dual-core CPU in Honeycomb. Several websites, including ours here, previously reported a rumor that there was a minimum screen-size and a dual-core chip requirement to run Android 3.0/Honeycomb properly. We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief now, as this rumor has been officially squelched. Of course, that means its possible there could be some manufacturers out there in the future that will try and pigeon-hole Honeycomb onto some old hardware and make it run really crappy, but let's just stick to looking on the bright-side.

from the looks of it, a galaxy tab is about the smallest i'd like to go on a honeycomb device.

It's not REQUIRED that you wear a parachute while jumping out of a plane but it's probably in your best interests.

This is good for Motorola who stated in their investor package in late December that they fully intend to keep the "premier Tier($200)" and then produce "other android phones"

why would google ever put a system requirement. device manufacturers will stop spending money to update devices that have reached their end of life.. and that gives the people a great reason to buy a new device ha
