home page deosnt shut off

my gs3 home page wont shut off it stays on i have it set for 15 seconds i changed it to 30 seconds no change

Try restarting or pulling the battery. Sometimes that'll help.

You don't have any apps such as Screebl that help keep the screen on do you?

also, check settings/developer options, make sure "stay awake" is not checked.

thanks for replies i ended up doing a factory reset.oh yay the worse is not being able to save the apps
